Pure and Applied – Sustainability Advisory

I'm a trusted sustainability and governance advisor with deep expertise in financial systems and social equity. As Non-executive Director at Landcom, Member of Alphinity Investment Management's Sustainable Compliance Committees, and former member and co-chair of the UN's Environment Program Finance Initiative Banking Board, I've witnessed how financial structures can either perpetuate or address gender inequity. As the first chief sustainability officer in listed Australian financial services at Westpac, I led social policy initiatives including customer vulnerability programs, giving me unique insight into the systemic barriers women face in building financial resilience and the long-term impacts on their leadership pathways.

Through my board roles at The Social Outfit (a refugee/migrant focused social enterprise) and previous community work, I've seen firsthand how financial barriers disproportionately affect women from diverse backgrounds. My work co-authoring the UN Principles for Responsible Banking and leading sustainability strategy across finance and property has shown me how macroeconomic trends impact women's economic participation. Recognised with the AFR Women in Leadership Award (Banking Category) in 2024, I'm passionate about creating financially inclusive systems that support women's career progression and long-term security.
