Meaghan Telford is Group Executive – Policy, Advocacy and Reputation at Medibank and Co-Chair of the organisation’s Diversity & Inclusion Council. She is responsible for leading Medibank’s government and industry relations, stakeholder engagement, health policy, reputation, and external communications. Since joining Medibank in 2016, Meaghan has overseen major external affairs initiatives, leveraging her expertise in shaping public policy, managing complex issues, and driving advocacy agendas that align with organisational purpose and community needs.

With more than 20 years’ experience across sport, politics, and ASX-listed entities, Meaghan has held senior roles that span media management, government relations, stakeholder strategy, campaign leadership, and internal communications. Prior to Medibank, she served as Group Corporate Communications Lead at NAB, where she directed communications on mergers and acquisitions, pricing strategies, financial reporting, and corporate reputation.

At the Summit, Meaghan will share how leaders can integrate advocacy, policy influence, and stakeholder engagement into succession planning, offering a perspective on how purpose-driven leadership can strengthen organisational continuity and resilience in uncertain times.
