Julie Toth is the Chief Economist at PEXA, where she leads the organisation’s economic research and insights, shaping its understanding of property market trends and their broader economic implications. With more than two decades of experience in applied economics, Julie has worked across corporate, government, and not‑for‑profit sectors, providing strategic advice on economic policy, investment and market performance. Prior to joining PEXA, she held senior roles at the Australian Industry Group, ANZ, and in state and federal government agencies, developing deep expertise in labour markets, industry policy and economic development.
A respected thought leader and communicator, Julie is a sought‑after commentator on Australia’s economic landscape and a member of the Economic Society of Australia (VIC). She is passionate about applying economic insights to inform better decision‑making and drive long‑term value for communities and businesses.
