Brigid Monagle was appointed as Victorian Public Sector Commissioner in February 2023.
She is a senior public servant who previously acted as Secretary for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
Previously, Brigid was the Associate Secretary at DFFH and held several Deputy Secretary roles at DFFH; as well as at the former Department of Health and Human Services; and the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC).
She holds a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons).
Her work is driven by the VPSC’s vision of a future focused, trusted and high-performing public sector for all Victorians. She is a champion of the public sector; its work and its people.
