Angela Nolan was appointed Group CEO at Mercy Health Australia in October 2022, following five years as CEO of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and previous executive positions in operations and corporate services.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Business and began her career as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen, working with organizations across a variety of industries. After completing a second qualification in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, Angela worked for the ANZ Bank, where her final role was Global Head of HR Advisory and Consulting, leading significant transformation programs.
Angela currently holds a Board Director position on the Mercy Health Foundation Board and has served on the boards of several other prominent health and research organisations. She was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for her work with Inclusion Melbourne, a community-based not-for-profit organisation.
Her extensive experience in navigating complex leadership roles and driving organisational change will offer attendees a candid look at the resilience and decisive action required to deliver results in high-pressure, uncertain environments.
