Zainab is a public health leader with over a decade of experience working across not-for-profit organisations, government agencies, and research institutes. She has a strong track record in public health program delivery, research and evaluation, as well as health policy and advocacy. Her passion lies in working collaboratively and strategically with stakeholders, Aboriginal communities, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

She is the Chair of Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services and an advocate for community-led solutions that foster empowerment and resilience. Committed to addressing inequities, Zainab strives to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of women and children both locally and across communities.

Zainab holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from The University of Western Australia.
