Marnie Beckett

Pronoun

Strategic Advisor

Marnie is an executive leader with nearly 30 years’ experience in a variety of industry sectors including local government, health and community care, infrastructure and construction, mining, and not-for-profit.

Her experience includes executive leadership, governance, asset management, strategic advisory, marketing and communication, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and change communication.

Starting her career in a small not-for-profit industry group to an executive role in Australia’s largest local governments, Marnie’s career has spanned a variety of roles that have all required her to provide clear advice to senior leaders to assist in shaping decisions. It has shaped not only her experience, but how it has changed her leadership style.

Marnie will bring her experience to the leadership lab to help facilitate conversations that will help flesh out real challenges faced by leaders every day; especially how to keep our teams engaged, deliver difficult news, but also how we can learn from success and more importantly, from the times that have challenged or tripped us up.
