Justine Cain is a transformational health care leader with a proven record of building and evolving large-scale, high performance organisations to deliver maximum impact for consumers, funders and communities. Since 2021, she has served as Group CEO of Diabetes Australia, the national peak body supporting nearly two million Australians living with or at risk of diabetes, while also leading international programs such as Life for a Child, which provides insulin, education and support to children in over 50 countries.
Justine’s leadership blends commercial acumen with deep social purpose, honed through executive roles across the health and human services sector and shaped by advanced training at Harvard, INSEAD and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also serves on the Board of UnitingCare Queensland and has previously held directorships across several health and philanthropic organisations.
Drawing on her experience leading diverse, mission driven teams, Justine shares insights on building trust, amplifying voices and creating cultures of accountability. These insights will offer leaders a roadmap for driving influence and impact in complex, people centred environments.
