Dr Diaswati (Asti) Mardiasmo is the Chief Economist at PRD Real Estate, leading a national research team delivering insights on property, housing markets, demographics, and future housing supply. With expertise spanning economics, public policy, governance, and stakeholder engagement, Asti has advised government, industry, and academia on critical housing and economic issues. She holds a Ph.D. in public/state asset management and governance from QUT, where she also lectures in property economics and supervises research.

Asti serves on the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Legacy Committee as a housing economist specialist, the Property Council of Australia’s Residential Committee, and the Reserve Bank of Australia Liaison Program. In 2024, she was named Migrant Leader of the Year at the Women Changing the World Awards.

A sought after commentator, Asti regularly contributes to media, publishes extensively, and speaks at national and international forums.
