Deborah Dixon is an accomplished and visionary executive with over 20 years of operational and strategic leadership experience in the community services and NFP sectors. Currently serving as General Manager – Navigation at Carers Queensland, she leads a $75M+ portfolio delivering the NDIA-funded Local Area Coordination program and carer supports to over 65,000 people across Queensland.

Specialising in complex business transformation and cultural reform, Deborah is known for building high-performing, purpose-driven teams and pioneering sustainable, community-led solutions. She holds degrees in Business and Commerce and Human Services, a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Leadership and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her practice is grounded in collaboration, innovation, and a bold commitment to advancing equity and lasting social impact.

At the Women in Leadership Summit, Deborah will bring a forward-thinking perspective on what it truly takes to lead inclusive, high-performing teams. Drawing from real-world experience navigating large-scale transformation and reform, this session will challenge leaders to explore leadership mindsets, behaviours and systems that drive trust, accountability, and results – even in the face of conflict, disruption or underperformance. She will challenge leaders to reimagine the future by investing in the people who power it.
