Kate West is the Co-Chair of Australasia, leading a workforce of 3,500 build environment specialists across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. With a background in both engineering and architecture, Kate has held roles as a Management Consultant and Project Director across Australia, the UK, and Ireland. Her career is marked by her ability to build high-performing teams, collaborate with clients at the highest levels, and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Kate’s expertise extends to advising clients and government partners on large-scale city shaping infrastructure projects—spanning transport, energy, health, and city precincts—from concept to delivery. As a natural leader, Kate is driven to create a positive legacy for clients and communities. Her outstanding communication and technical skills, combined with unwavering commitment, define her approach. Notably, she led the Metronet Morley-Ellenbrook Rail Line project and played a pivotal role in the development of Joondalup Hospital as a public-private partnership. Kate is also an advocate for flexible work arrangements and actively mentors women and men in the industry.
