Whadjuk Traditional Custodian Nyoongar Nation (with strong ties to Wongatha, Yindjibarndi and Gidja peoples through her Grandparents) and has qualifications in Executive Indigenous Leadership.

Denice is a passionate advocate for human rights and considers herself to be a positive change agent. With over 30 years of experience working in Aboriginal Affairs professionally, she has worked in the public service for several years. Denice’s experience has also been broadened with her work for not-for-profit & corporate sectors across Australia, as well as dabbling in the performing arts industry. Her passion in life has been to work with organisations that are committed to assisting Indigenous people for the betterment of their lifestyles.

Denice has years of work experience that include the development of strategies relating to employment, participation plans, inclusion and engagement strategies, and reconciliation plans throughout Australia. Denice is very proud to be a member of the oldest continuing culture in the world and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and understanding about her culture. She has delivered many workshops assisting participants throughout Australia to commence or continue their cultural learning journey.
